One can not stop wondering just what kind of conspiracy is going on against the Personal Computer user. I have a theory about passwords. I think that everyone is having a tough time getting into their accounts because there are too many kinds of devices online 'reading' our information. Remember I am not a technician but I have used a computer of one sort or another since the early 70's. I even used one computer that filled a room, for awhile in the 60's.
These companies that do not have anybody at their company for someone to call; when there is a problem with their product, be it free or otherwise, are not doing the follow through that people deserve. When I could not get into my Weebly building site for my free blog and website, I just called the number on the page. The young man that answered was gracious and efficient. It is because of him I am able to type this missive. This is the type of thing companies like Microsoft should have in place for their customers be they free or otherwise. As it is now, I have to wait 24 hours and MAYBE then I will be able to get into my Skype account.
Another thing that really irritates me is the way Microsoft encourages people to 'link' accounts together. No doubt, it is for information gathering purposes. Information, which by the way, is absolutely none of any given companies business. I believe this is what got me in this mess. There are too many passwords on this site all linked. When you have separate passwords; then you can log in with one of them and get to the page you want without any problems.
I feel it is important for people to be able to not be stressed out with this sort of thing. One definitely should not have to wait 24 hours for Microsoft to 'pull up its socks'! They are a company that is supposed to show new innovations and give good service to people that use their products. Here's hoping they do a good job with me and get me straightened out.
