I had a few problems putting up with some of the other tenants and their bad habits at my old house. My new room turned out to be a bad move. I really do not appreciate the fact that the person that rented me the room on Birch intimated that I would not have to move again and that it would be signed up for 6 more months at the end of August. Then, I found out they were leveling the house where I was renting my huge room. One of the owners asked me if I wanted to rent a one bedroom in one of his other buildings. I went and took a look at it and it was a real possibility. Then, just as I was going to say I would take it, he pipes up to me in front of my girlfriend, that he didn't think I could afford it. Well friends, I have moved to a new one bedroom apartment that has a lot bigger bedroom than the one "Mr. I know your business" didn't rent me. You just never know what life will hand you in the end. I am going into my second month here and I am liking the street, my landlord, and my apartment. I hope that Dobie and I shall really enjoy living here for many years.
A friend of mine added to my furniture. My music box and small china animal collections look lovely on the black free-standing industrial shelves and the rattan shelf she gifted me. I have a few pieces that my mother had in my childhood home. Bit by bit our new home is starting to look like it belongs to Dobie and me.
Now I want to write a bit about the up-coming Federal Election here in Canada. Who is there to elect? Who is honest enough among the people running for Canada's Prime Minister ? Who knows enough about the environment, native Canadian animals, pollution, immigrants of all species, and everything all Canadians need to live a brighter tomorrow? What kind of PM do we need here in our country.
"Canada is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Artic Ocean, covering 3.85 million square miles, making it the world's second largest country by total area. Covering an expanse of over 6.6 million square miles, Russia is the world’s largest country by landmass, beating out runner-up Canada by around 2.8 million. In terms of area size, the 3rd largest country in the world is China. In terms of population, the third largest country is the United States. The world's third largest country is the United States of America in both land mass and population, being 9,629,091 sq km in size, containing 310,681,000 people and making up 4.52% of the world's population." *Wikipedia is the source.
To me, it is important for people to know some facts about a place where they are going to vote. Just saying...
So, with this in mind, go to the you tube or a website that shows everything the candidates represent or say they represent. Then look at what you want for this country and see if your chosen one fills those shoes. If he or she doesn't then don't vote for them. Bet you didn't see those simple instructions coming!
