Everything is not done ...we are still alive,
We need to have our last hurrah,
And to see and know every reason,
So we can appreciate each season.
They tell us these are the golden years,
A decade absent of any and all fears,
We need to have our last hurrah,
Time to travel to destinations of our dreams,
I live no longer within another's schemes.
So lets take time to enjoy our days,
To understand what is wonderful always,
We need to have our last hurrah,
To know there is always something new,
That life can be free, real and true.
The Wee Few Thoughts of Dylan the Dog
My Lady likes to write poetry and sometimes it is good....other times its like an incomplete thought. I can't read; but soon she often speaks out loud, when she reads comments or comes to other conclusions on her own.
I am really enjoying the nice weather today. It makes one feel alive when you don't have to wear a doggy blanket or booties. The smells are intoxicating at this time of year. Violas are still blooming in the Garden Ladies backyard. There are beautiful orange flowers that are members of the 'Marsh' family and Shasta Daises are blooming at the back of the garden. I enjoy Summer and I dearly hope that Winter is not in a hurry to begin. Well that is all I have to say....have a good day fellow canines and enjoy the fragrances in the air.
