What really is offensive to me; is the ease and rate at which the broadcasters in our society show bombings, dismembered bodies, and picture after picture of mankind's sons and daughters lying dead here in North America as well as in other lands. You can't go through a day when there isn't a bulletin, a crime show, or full news broadcast full of murders, crimes of passion, assassinations, and as a result politicians allowing the murder of our Bill of Rights here in Canada. I imagine that this is happening all over the world.
Yet, it is against the law to pay someone to assist you in having a nostalgic experience. In some of the more liberal countries across the seas; sex workers have health programs, safe work environments, and this has cut down on sexually driven offenses including rape and murder more than 75%. I do not believe that mankind will ever be perfect; so we must set up things so that the imperfect situations that are in this world do not kill people.
I also think that what George Carlin said rings distinctly clear. "The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."
The Wee Few Thoughts of Dylan the Dog
I think that Ruth is right. There is entirely too much violence in this world. When I have seen my fellow dogs fight they don't usually maim each other and a fight doesn't last longer than a few minutes. Perhaps man could take a page out of the canine book. Also I have over heard several humans say that instead of country against country let the politicians duke it out in the ring. That way no one would have to go to war maybe.
Well it is time for a nap....doggie kisses till next time!
