I have a real problem with a lot of things in this world these days. I will just talk about those that come to mind today.
The Donald wants you to know he is a President plus. The man poses, twitters, does pod casts, and if all else fails; we see him on the news. I have had all the Donald I can stomach and much as I would like to, I cannot stop commenting on him. You see if we do stop criticizing, he might get into the White House again. That would not be good. He should be impeached today! The man is a troll. No, America is not my country; but whatever happens there, eventually has an effect on our country of Canada.
Our own Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, is a huge let down to me and even a bigger disappointment now that some people here in Canada have re-elected him. All I can say is I am confused by this countries sense of judgement. This man is known to be a prevaricator. But not just little white lies but big fat ones! He did not live up to a thing he said he would do for our Country during his first campaign! He won't live up to his word this time either. I won't belabor this subject anymore. I just feel a great churn of disappointment in my stomach.
Now the provincial choice wasn't mine either. I just don't feel that Doug Ford is a good selection. If you got him at the supermarket he would be the fatty ground beef not the lean grade. The man makes me think of that song "Side Step" from the "Biggest Little Whorehouse in Texas. If you want to know what else I think go to: https://www.stopfordcuts.ca/. I think these criticisms of Ford are right on the nose.
I feel like the politicians in place seem to believe it is important to spend money needlessly and forget about the environment even though they say it is important. I am completely disillusioned with politics.
Now all I have left are a few words to tell you what else bothers me.
1. O.A.P. is not enough for anyone on which to live a decent senior life. These are supposed to be our golden years but the Government has made them tin!
2. When we live in the burbs as I do there isn't really a safe public way for a senior who has any disabilities to go downtown. I would love to visit the ROM, the art gallery and the Ontario Science Centre and go to plays, musicals and concerts there.
3. I would appreciate it if some of the mobile companies would show a little thoughtfulness to seniors without acting as though we are all wheelchair bound. Someday maybe but not yet.
4. I think a really good thing for places like Loblaws and Costco etc., to do would be to have an online order senior discount day every week.
5. I would like to be able to live as I wish to without others telling me how to do it because I know I need spiritual guidance and not human intervention. When I ask for help that is an entirely different thing.
6. I would like to see generous senior discounts applied to my pet's Vet, all my doctors, and the lawyer to make a will.
That is all for today folks!
